PHILADELPHIA — “The property is in shell condition and it’s unknown what the new owner will do with it, said Nadia Bilynsky, a broker with MPN Realty Inc. who arranged the transaction with colleague Josh Nadel.”
$1.1million
Post Brothers sold a 6,500-square-foot structure at 2216 Walnut St. in Philadelphia for $1.1 million to a limited liability corporation going under name 2216 Walnut St. that is registered to Temple Villas at 1614 Cecil B. Moore Ave. in Philadelphia. The property is in shell condition and it’s unknown what the new owner will do with it, said Nadia Bilynsky, a broker with MPN Realty Inc. who arranged the transaction with colleague Josh Nadel. Last July, Post Brothers bought a two-building complex just off Rittenhouse Square that houses the Roosevelt apartments. The property at 2216-2222 Walnut St. was subsequently subdivided, paving the way for the sale of the vacant four-story, 9,000-square-foot structure that once housed Salento, an Italian restaurant.
9,865 square feet
Education Works is moving into 9,865 square feet on the sixth floor of 990 Spring Garden St. in Philadelphia and will be relocating from 3149 Germantown Ave. The tenant was represented by Tim Roseboro of Concordis Real Estate Advisors and the landlord, Arts & Crafts Holdings, was represented by Daniel Gummel of PernaFrederick Commercial Real Estate.
65,000 square feet
Fresh Grocer now occupies 65,000 square feet that had been leased to Pathmark at the Cedarbrook Plaza at 1000 Easton Road in Wyncote. The space was renovated and the new tenant will bring in 200 jobs. The property has been owned since 2006 by New York real estate firm Nassimi Realty.
