Sharswood is a small neighborhood in the North Philadelphia section of the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
It is located to the east of Brewerytown, north of Girard College,west of Ridge Avenue, and south of the Norman Blumberg apartment towers.
Sharswood is urban feel and most residents rent their homes.

Rittenhouse Square has become widely considered as one of the finest urban public spaces in the United States. Once predominantly a daytime destination, Rittenhouse Square is now a popular nightspot as well, with a string of restaurants — including Rouge, Devon, Parc and Barclay Prime — that have sprouted up along the east side of the park on 18th Street.

Rittenhouse Square is easily accessible with two train stations nearby. Suburban Station and Amtrak’s 30th Street Station are a short walk or cab ride away from any neighborhood point. Septa bus stops are located throughout the neighborhood.
