West Passyunk

Located in South Philadelphia, West Passyunk is an urban area with many shops and restaurants available.

The area is primarily liberal and consists of families.

The Free Library of Philadelphia is located in the neighborhood, located at 20th and Shunk Streets. There are schools and public transportation that makes commuting easy.

The park square is nestled in the middle of Philadelphia’s Center City District, providing an oasis of respite and relaxation amidst the bustling city as well as host to festivals, farmers’ markets, and fairs throughout the year. The neighborhood park is one of the most lovely and peaceful spots in Philadelphia.

Once predominantly a daytime destination, Rittenhouse Square is now a popular nightspot as well, with a string of restaurants — including Rouge, Devon, Parc and Barclay Prime — that have sprouted up along the east side of the park on 18th Street.

Rittenhouse Square is easily accessible with two train stations nearby. Suburban Station and Amtrak’s 30th Street Station are a short walk or cab ride away from any neighborhood point. Septa bus stops are located throughout the neighborhood.
